Dr. Michael Green

Medical Director

Dr. Michael Green graduated from the University Of South Florida College Of Medicine in 1992. His residency training was with the University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois from 1992-1995.  After achieving board certification as an Emergency Medicine Specialist, he completed coursework in Aesthetic Lasers at Lasertrolysis of Naples, Florida in 2000. He is currently participating in a fellowship in Anti-aging and Functional Medicine.

To meet the growing demand for medical skin care and long-term solutions to unwanted hair, Dr. Green founded Light Care Skin and Laser Center in Skokie, Illinois in the spring of 2000. Clients responded enthusiastically. In response to business growth, client feedback, new products and technological advances, Dr. Green decided to expand and move his practice to its new location at 2834 N. Halsted in January 2005. Offering a larger selection of aesthetic and preventative services, Light Care Medical Spa provides aesthetic services including skincare, hair removal, Botox®, photodynamic therapy and sclerotherapy.  We also embrace a mind, body, spirit approach to health and offer therapies such as acupuncture, and massage.
 
As 2006 develops, we have incorporated Anti-aging and functional medicine and will be offering nutrition consultation, bio-identical hormone balance, as well as other proactive healthcare services.

Dr. Green is a member of the Medical Spa Society, the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, The American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine, and the American College of Emergency Physicians.
